'X Factor' Tour: Lucy Spraggan Could Join In

Could Lucy Spraggan Join The 'X Factor' Tour?

'X Factor' star Lucy Spraggan could rejoin her fellow contestants on next year's live tour despite dropping out of the show.

The singer-songwriter was forced to pull out of the competition last weekend after missing two shows.

Host Dermot O'Leary told viewers Lucy was still not well enough to perform and had decided to take herself out of the running, but show insiders say a spot on the tour will be held for her if she wants it.

Lucy, from Buxton, Derbyshire, writes her own songs and has played guitar for years. She works as a portrait seller in Sheffield.

Her mentor Tulisa Contostavlos said it will not be the last people will hear of the 20-year-old.

She said: "She's just an amazing person to work with. I'm going to miss her very much. We are still in touch, this is not the end of Lucy or the last you are going to see of her... big, big things to come. I just want to send her all my love."

The current line-up of the tour includes the final seven acts from the hit ITV1 show, James Arthur, Ella Henderson, Jahmene Douglas, Rylan Clark, Christopher Maloney and groups Union J and District3.

Ella, one of the favourites to win, said "I cannot believe that at only 16 I have not only had the amazing opportunity and experience of appearing on 'X Factor', I am now fulfilling a dream by taking part in an arena tour."

The tour kicks off in Manchester in January, before going on to venues all over the UK and Ireland including Cardiff, Liverpool, Birmingham, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Dublin and Belfast.
