Xbox has revealed what will be arriving in the first Xbox One update of 2015 and ... it's a biggie.
In a video posted to YouTube, Xbox's Larry 'Major Nelson' Hryb ran through the new features that'd be arriving including new transparent tiles for the home screen, game hubs and major updates to the live TV service.
The most notable update is the addition of tile transparency. Since Xbox started letting you pick your own background for the Xbox One, gamers have apparently been asking to see more of their chosen pictures -- so now you can choose how transparent the tiles are.
Next up is the Game Hub, a dedicated hub about each game you own showing you essential stats, top clips and the players you need to be competing against.
Game Hub also comes with specific 'play' actions letting you either play in fullscreen or play with various elements snapped on the side including achievements, parties or live streaming content.
Finally there's a major update to the Live TV section of Xbox One. Microsoft will add trending support to a number of new countries around the world while also enabling live streaming of TV from the Xbox to a compatible Windows Phone or Android Phone.
