Afrika has 20 years ICT industry experience, of which 5 of those years were spent as a Systems Engineer Manager. Afrika then moved into the business arena focusing on sales of ICT solutions from networking solutions, data centre and collaboration tools, applications in the Government Sector. He has led Broadband Strategy implementation for a number Metropolitan Municipalities and provincial governments in South Africa. With a current focus on helping public sector entities adopt a process driven digitization strategy, Afrika leads a capable team driving new business development. Previously Head of Provincial & Local Government at Software AG, Afrika has extensive knowledge and experience driving ICT revenue growth within the Public Sector vertical in South Africa.  His strengths are in combining broad business understanding with technical knowledge and creative problem-solving skills in both strategic and tactical areas. He is an effective communicator with an ability to explain complex concepts and ideas to internal and external clients.
