' No matter what you think you are, you are always more than that'.
I baulk at definitions and so for me to say that I am a mother, wife, writer, business woman, coach and daydream believer would only go part way to describing me at any one time.
As a seeker of knowledge and a believer that there is always more, I am a product of a fairly alternative upbringing; my feet rooted in a northern working class reality, my head and my heart open to love, knowledge and change. At 36, the rocky and colourful road I have travelled has led me to this point where I am mother to two boys, happily married and FINALLY ready to realise my dreams as a writer and woman of opinion!
Professionally my career is shaped in business development; but now writing and personal development come first as I hustle to make my passions pay the bills. Personally, I strive to understand and model happiness as a life skill. My blog, Brightwise details the roller-coaster of emotions I have travailed as I aim to parent well, develop myself and work through the beauty and pain humanity offers up as experience.
Having said all that, mostly I like to laugh, rant and eat cake.
