Alex Sobel

Alex Sobel is a community activist and organiser from Leeds, he managed Social Enterprise Yorkshire and the Humber and Co-operatives Yokrshire and the Humber. Alex has a background in equalities campaigning especially the family campaigns in the 1990s and was a witness to the Stephen Lawrence Inquiry. Alex is a Labour Party member and stood as Labour's Parliamentary Candidate in Beaconsfield in 2005, last year he was the Yorkshire Organiser for Ed Miliband on his leadership campaign.
