Alistair Dormer

Alistair is Managing Director of Hitachi Rail Europe. He is responsible for delivering Hitachi’s railway business within Europe, including current projects such as the Super Express (IEP) train, Class 395 introduction, Class 465 traction replacement and expansion into new markets.

Alistair joined Hitachi in 2003, initially leading the company’s efforts to secure market entry into the UK with the Class 395 contract and more recently leading the bid for the Intercity Express Programme (Super Express).
