Allen Scott

Allen has over twenty years experience at the cutting edge of IT, in sectors including software, media, the Internet and telecommunications. Allen specialises in focusing on fast sales growth and detailed execution. He has worked with a number of leading and innovative organisations of all sizes, from start-ups to global brands, to turn company vision into reality and converting new services into profitable revenue.

At F-Secure, Allen is the managing director for the UK and Ireland, where he is responsible for driving the growth of the company in the region. The combination of his bold style and industry expertise has helped position F-Secure a global leader in security and cloud services.

Before joining F-Secure, Allen was head of UK sales for Gridpoint, an established leader in smart energy solutions, where he led sales and marketing efforts on behalf of the company.

Allen has held executive positions at a number of global public IT and telecoms, and start-up companies. This includes the position of general manager for NeuStar NGM (Followap), the world's leading mobile instant messaging company that was sold to NeuStar for $139M. In 2002, Allen co-founded Edgeforce, specialising in telecommunications consultancy and has held senior positions at companies including Emblaze, Ecom, Vivao, Vodafone Global, AT&T, GTS and Novell.
