Anikka Burton was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 33. During her treatment she blogged about her top tips and advice at – Chemo For Beginners - An A to Z of All Things 'C' – covering topics on hair loss and beauty tips, and received noteworthy recognition. She has since set up her own online business Not Another Bunch Of Flowers offering handpicked and unique get well gifts as an alternative to flowers. She feels very privileged to use her experience to help people affected by cancer and other serious illnesses on a daily basis. At the end of 2015 she won an Inspirational Award for Women, not only for her personal story and fundraising efforts, but also for the creation of her business. Anikka has recently become a mother, something she had previously been told was unlikely to happen due to her cancer treatment. So, for now she can proudly say she is a mother, working mum and a small business owner, who is currently in the land of "NED"(No Evidence of Disease). Long may that continue.
