Anna Edwards co-anchors "Countdown" with Mark Barton broadcast live from London every weekday from 6am to 8am London time.

Anna has more than ten years experience in business news having previously worked at CNBC Europe and freelanced for CNN in London. Before working in TV Anna was an equity analyst at UBS and qualified as a Chartered Management Accountant at Pricewaterhouse Coopers.

While at CNBC Europe Anna most recently worked as part of the morning anchor team, presenting 4 hours of live TV every weekday, including the flagship show Squawk Box Europe. During her time at the channel she presented all of the CNBC Europe shows either on a permanent or stand-in basis.

Anna has interviewed business leaders, politicians and key economy figures including Bob Diamond, Sir Richard Branson, Justin King, Paul Walsh, Michael O’Leary, Ben Verwaayen, Alistair Darling, Lord Digby Jones, Christine Lagarde, Bill Gross, Jim Rogers, Paul Krugman, Steven Roach, Nouriel Roubini, and hundreds more.
