Ashish Kumar Gupta is Senior Vice President and Head of Infrastructure Services for HCL in EMEA. Under his leadership HCL has grown to become one of the more recognised ITO Services Providers in Europe growing at a CAGR of 65%. He has been responsible for establishing the HCL infrastructure Operations in Europe since 2003 and was one of the people who conceptualised Remote Infrastructure Management.
An engineering graduate with a management degree from Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, Ashish started his career with HCL as a Senior Management Trainee in 1995 and has been primarily working on starting new businesses and propositions and making these successful over his career in HCL across India, US and now in Europe.
He lives in London and likes reading, hiking and innovation in business models which can be disruptive to existing players in the market.
