Bailey Thomson

In her role as SPARK Schools Director of School Operations, Bailey is dedicated to ensuring that the network's innovative blended learning model delivers high quality education at an affordable cost for all South African children. Her responsibilities include designing and innovating systems and procedures that make certain that all non-academic operations in the network’s schools lead to exceptional student achievement, as well as continued professional development of all staff.  From the organization’s founding in 2012, Bailey has also served as Director of Leadership and Development and Director of School Design.  In her previous roles, she led the design and innovation of both the foundation phase (K-3) and intermediate phase (4-7) blended learning models in each of SPARK's schools, as well as differentiated professional and leadership development programs for the organization’s academic staff and school leaders.
