Passionate about dogs. CV will reveal.... life-long obsession! I have also created a number of events/ happenings that help give the normally passive pet owner a voice as well as a lot of fun. Have also started many awards that have drawn attention to the fantastic dog human bond and what it can achieve. Have several book ideas on the go and a couple more film/TV ideas, too! Dogs Today was one of the first magazines in the world to be desk top published and also the first to be on the Appstore! (Now on sale on Kindle Fire, iPad/iPhone and IPod formats via the App Store and for Android on Google Play etc. In glossy paper format Smiths, Tesco, Sainsburys etc). What you might find surprising is our media reach. We have 1.3 million followers on Facebook! I personally have more than 15,000 - so do join in, you don't want to miss anything! The magazine I rescued all those years ago is now award-winning, ethical and always the magazine TV researchers turn to first (for good reason!). Also a bit political, but can't always talk about it - but I am active about not just writing the news, changing it too! Blogger for Huffington Post and an occasional contributor to the Guardian and other nationals. Love TV. Appeared in more than 200 TV programmes already - live, prerecord, serious, funny - all doggie! Had a column in the Mail on Sunday for eight years. Often on various progs on BBC Radio 4 - especially love You and Yours. Regular on local radio too - and happy to do radio days for causes I am aligned to. And surveys, we get a great take up with our social reach. Oh, and we also run retail site www.purrfectlyyappy.com .... a bit like Not on the High Street, but for pet lovers. Hundreds of different suppliers in one place. Ethical products that are often hard to find. Small suppliers getting equal billing with multi-nationals. Somewhat surprisingly, I have my first screenplay 'in development' - the true story of how I saved Dogs Today!
