My blog ‘Dawn of the Teenage’ started from day one of my eldest son turning 13 in April 2015. My own teenage years were a bit messy and I wrote it all down in Garfield diaries (which I still have) giving me the idea for the blog. Writing about my eldest son as a teenager has been eye opening, funny and sad, especially since he was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes last year. I like to swim, in pools and wild waters, detest group activities and can’t eat a banana with black bits. With 15 years in London, I’ve been in the Cheshire countryside for over a decade and I still get a thrill when easily parking outside my own house every single day.
