Cecilia Knapp

Cecilia Knapp is a poet who writes and performs extensively in the UK. She is an alumni of the Camden Roundhouse’s prolific poetry mentoring scheme and has headlined at some of London’s most well known poetry nights. She has made commissioned work for the BBC had her work published in several anthologies, completed three successful runs at the Edinburgh Fringe and shared her work on stages at festivals including Bestival and Secret Garden Party. Her poetry as been played on both XFM, BBC radio 1 and 1xtra. She is currently working on a one woman spoken word theatre piece, ‘Finding Home’ which is supported by both the Roundhouse, Richmix and the Arts Council and will tour in 2016. Cecilia frequently teaches creative writing in schools and theatres to young people.
