Charlotte Gater is the Head of Curriculum at Explore Learning (www.explorelearning.co.uk), the provider of English and maths tuition for children aged four to 14. An expert in the National Curriculum and Curriculum for Excellence, Charlotte has been instrumental in the fast growth of Explore Learning having worked with the company since 2008, both on the ground in the centres and in the head office in Guildford. Explore Learning currently has 132 centres located across the UK, providing extra tuition to more than 35,000 children each week. It has been recognized a number of times for the great work they are doing in supporting children’s education and in the HR sphere by Mumsnet, EducationInvestor, The Sunday Times and GlassDoor. Charlotte is responsible for staff training, ensuring best practice and maintaining that all courses are aligned to the national curriculum.
