Director of the Centre for Social Justice
Christian Guy is the Director of the Centre for Social Justice (CSJ). He is a member of the Government's Social Mobility and Child Poverty Commission and an adviser to the Early Intervention Foundation. Formerly Director of Policy and speechwriter to the CSJ's Patron Iain Duncan Smith, he is a regular commentator on social policy across national and international media. He has led in-depth work across a number of public policy themes including welfare reform, child poverty, criminal justice, older age and addiction.
Before joining the CSJ he worked as a Community Organiser for a partnership of local authorities, police, schools and voluntary sector organisations and undertook a 12 month political internship in East London. Christian is on the board of directors at Yarlington Housing Group, one of country's leading housing associations, and is the Assistant Director of Jonathan Aitken's Westminster Forum. He is a mentor for the Young Foundation's UpRising leadership programme and an adviser to a number of charity programmes.
