Christian Nellemann is the group CEO and founder of
XLN Telecom and a serial entrepreneur.
Christian started XLN in 2002 as a telecoms provider after seeing the window of opportunity that telecoms deregulation had created within the small business market.
After expanding the product range, XLN Business Services now supplies telecoms, card processing, energy and insurance to 130,000 small businesses nationwide. XLN is one of the fastest growing companies in the UK and businesses such as hairdressers, newsagents and restaurants across the UK rely on it to save them money and keep their key services running.
In 2006, Christian was a winner of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award for Technology and Communication and in 2010 he won Ernst & Young’s 2010 National Entrepreneur of the Year Award for Business Products and Services. In July 2011 XLN was the national winner of the ‘PE-Backed Management Team of the Year (Mid Market)’ category in the British Venture Capital Association (BVCA) Portfolio Company Awards. In 2012 XLN was listed as #24 in the Sunday Times Buyout Track 100. In 2013, XLN has appeared in The Sunday Times Profit Track for the 3rd year running listing at #89 and as a finalist at the National Business Awards for the 8th time for the Customer Focus Award.
