Claira Hermet

Growing up on a rural farm in Essex, Claira entertained audiences of the animal persuasion including ponies, dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens, hamsters, and stick insects (which she didn’t like because their legs fell off). Like Dr Doolittle she formed a close bond with her rescue sheep Scraggles and moved her into the farmhouse where she soon became an addition to the family.

After rolling around in mud and frolicking in the fresh air, Claira exchanged tractor for the tube, leaving all her farmyard friends waving goodbye when she moved to the big smoke to pursue a career in TV.
With a raw talent in presenting, and the ability to chat to just about anyone. Claira’s playful personality has seen her present online music portal Officially Grime Daily, SBTV and Holymoly. Her weirdest interview to date was with Magnetic Man, where they reenacted Jeremy Kyle. By the end she didn’t know her own name, or who her own parents were.

HolyMoly! snapped her up as their red carpet presenter where her clumsy, blunt and energetic personality saw her asking celebrities inappropriate questions.

Claira regularly presents radio shows for BBC Radio 1xtra and keeps herself super busy creating, filing and editing youtube videos for her quickly growing channel.

Most recently Claira has joined BT Sport to present and all sports and social media show, BTSP which airs every Wednesday at 7.15am
