Chief Executive of Battersea Dogs & Cats Home
Claire has been the Chief Executive of Battersea Dogs & Cats Home since June 2010.
She is also a Non Executive Director on the Government Board, The Animal Health & Welfare Board for England (AHWBE), the principal source of advice to Defra Ministers on all strategic health and welfare matters relating to kept animals. She is chairman of the Association of Dogs & Cats Homes (ADCH), the national membership body for rescue and rehoming organisations.
She holds an MBA from Warwick Business School, is a Fellow of the RSA and the Institute of Directors and in 2015 was awarded an Honorary Doctorate from the University of Roehampton for services to welfare and the community.
