Clare McNeil

Clare is a Senior Research Fellow at progressive thinktank the Institute for Public Policy Research. She specialises in policy areas including social policy, welfare reform and energy and climate change. She has authored many reports on these issues and written for the media, including the Guardian, Independent and New Statesman, among other specialist publications.

Clare has commented on public policy issues for a range of national and local media including Newsnight, BBC News, Sky News, Channel Four News and BBC Radio Four. Prior to joining IPPR, Clare worked in policy and communications for several NGOs.
