Conor is an undergraduate at the University of Edinburgh. He writes and edits for The Student newspaper, the UK’s oldest student publication. Originally from County Down, Conor is interested in anything related to UK and regional politics, higher education, gender and equality, LGBT+ issues and mental health. He is usually to be found drinking strong coffee, watching American sitcoms or poring over something literary in the depths of the University library. He is also passionate about literature, arts and culture, and has particular interests in poetry and theatre, which might account for his often melodramatic tendencies.
