Possibly the world’s toughest sporting event for teams, the Volvo Ocean Race route is one of the most demanding ocean races in existence. Team SCA, the only all-woman team taking part, will be competing on a nine-leg race around the world, covering over 39,000 miles of the most challenging oceans and conditions. Starting in Spain in October 2014, their circumnavigation of the globe will finish in Sweden in June 2015.
