David lost his first wife to breast cancer in 1995. He lives in Reading with his wife, Nicola, and has two grown up sons who live in Hampshire. David is a keen runner and ran the Reading Half Marathon on his 50th birthday in April 2016 in support of Breast Cancer Care.
