David Mytton is founder and CEO of Server Density, a scalable infrastructure monitoring software company. While working at a startup in London, David realised that great server monitoring tools were hard to come by so he built one himself, with the graphing capabilities, dashboards and low management overhead he knew modern businesses needed. He founded Server Density with a school friend in 2009, and the company has since gone through multiple stages of growth, from bootstrapped to institutional funding. Server Density has more than 700 customers, including the NHS, Drupal, Firebox and Greenpeace, and has offices in London and New York.

David writes a regular column for InfoWorld and speaks at conferences around the world. He founded the HumanOps movement (a set of principles which focus on the human aspects of running infrastructure), is a non-executive director of SalesSeek Limited, and a co-founder of the Open Rights Group. He holds an LLB in Law from The University of Birmingham.
