Dr Asim Shahmalak is Britain's most respected and best known hair transplant surgeon.
He was a General Surgeon who worked with the National Health Service for more than 10 years. He was awarded a Medical degree in 1987. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.
Dr Shahmalak is truly a pioneering Surgeon who has performed the first successful Eye Lash Transplant in the UK and is also an Examiner and Honorary Teacher at the University of Liverpool. He is a Faculty Member of the ISHRS (International Society for Hair Restoration Surgery) and he has presented papers at numerous hair conferences and societies.
He has also attended International and European conferences and Live Surgical workshops for the Hair Restoration and recently performed a hair transplant procedure aired on Channel 4’s Embarrassing Bodies in March 2012.
