Dr Bernats' special interests are in the areas of Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder and Women's Mental Health. Being a Psychotherapist herself she can see families and individuals who are going through a crisis and are in need of psychological support.
Dr. Bernat has trained as an EMDR therapist. Dr Bernat has been heavily involved with the development of Schwartz Rounds at the Kings Oak and Cavell BMI hospitals and will be the Schwartz Rounds Facilitator at these sites. She also supervises clinical staff at BMI General Hospital.
