Masiiwa Ragies Gunda

Masiiwa Ragies Gunda is an Old Testament and biblical hebrew scholar holding a PhD from Bayreuth University, Germany. Since 2005, Gunda has been involved in research and publication on the intersection between the bible, religion and human sexuality. Gunda has worked with churches and LGBTI groups and organisations in Africa and the world. In the past few years, Gunda has consulted for the Ecumenical HIV and AIDS Initiatives and Advocacy (EHAIA) for the World Council of Churches (WCC) on gender-based violence and transformative masculinities in the context of fighting against HIV and AIDS. Gunda has published widely on the bible and human sexuality. Gunda is married to Shuvai and been blessed with two sons.
