Passionate physiotherapist, researcher, allied health professional with interest in neurological rehabilitation
I am qualified Physiotherapist, a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
I am a senior lecturer at MMU, a fellow of the Higher Education Authority and have a Master’s degree in Management (MMU) in addition to a PhD in Physiotherapy (King’s College London). My current research interests centre around neurological practice, with a specific focus on rehabilitation in stroke. I am particularly interested in harnessing technology to improve rehabilitation outcomes; my current projects include investigating the use of virtual reality, gaming and haptics currently investigating the use of technology in rehabilitation, notably haptics and virtual reality to help people after stroke.
