Dr Rachel Thomas is a medical doctor and author, involved in patient advocacy, and health education.
She was awarded the 'Best Young Author' by the British Medical Association. Her book titles include Practical Medical Procedures at a Glance, and Medical School at a Glance, both by Wiley-Blackwell. She writes for various publications – including sitting on the editorial board for the European Medical Journal Innovations, and blogging for the British Medical Journal.
She read Medicine and Surgery at Oxford University. She also holds a first class honours degree in Biomedical Engineering, and a bachelor’s degree in Science, majoring in Physiology. She is currently completing a Masters in Neuroscience and Psychology of Mental Health at Kings College London.
