Prior to this, Duncan held various roles within Virgin Media's consumer division, including a number of strategy and product roles, culminating as commercial development director where he led the implementation of Virgin Media's Collection bundles.

Prior to joining Virgin Media in 2004, Duncan worked for OC&C Strategy Consultants advising Corporate and Private Equity houses across a number of industries.
