Edward Howell

Edward Howell is an Economic and Social Research Council scholar in International Relations at Oxford University, where his research focuses on North Korea's ongoing survival as a regime-state. Analyzing North Korea from a more socio-cultural perspective within International Relations, Edward also researches widely on East Asia, namely the Korean Peninsula. As a double first class Geography graduate from Oxford University, Edward's recent work within socio-cultural geography has included investigation of Korean migrants in the UK, particularly those who have renounced their Korean passports, and their maintenance of belonging to homeland and hostland.
