Emily Little, PhD, is the Founder and Executive Director of Nurturely, a global social impact organization advancing equity in pregnancy, postpartum, and infant health. She earned her PhD in experimental psychology at University of California, San Diego, specializing in anthropogeny (the study of human origins). As a researcher at the  intersection of anthropology, psychology, and public health, she documents the  effectiveness and feasibility of culturally-rooted interventions to prevent postpartum health disparities. At Nurturely, she works alongside a multicultural team to translate this research into impactful, community-led programs. Having lived and worked in over 40 countries, she brings a deep commitment to cultural humility in all aspects of her work.
