Spokesperson Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Worldwide & AMYA UK, Lawyer, Human Rights Advocate, News Commentator, Writer & Public Speaker/Trainer on Islam
Farooq is the Deputy Director of Communications and Spokesperson for the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Worldwide and National Spokesperson of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association UK, a registered charity and the UK's oldest and largest Muslim youth organisation. He is also a lawyer, human rights activist and legal adviser to the international NGO, Human Rights Committee. He regularly liaises and advises NGOs and government bodies on human rights and persecution issues with a particular focus on the persecution of Ahmadi Muslims.
Farooq is a frequent speaker on Islamic issues at conferences, universities, schools, churches and other public events. He has appeared on several national and local news outlets commenting on Islamic issues.
