Francesca Mitchell

Francesca Mitchell is an experienced student journalist, and currently works as Features Editor at The Student, the UK's oldest student newspaper. In addition to working at The Student, she has worked on numerous publications as both an editor and contributor, most notably for Journalists for Human Rights and HerCampus.com, as well as completing research and editorial internships with South African History Online and Wanderlust magazine. Francesca is in her final year of studying for her MA(Hons) in English Literature and History at the University of Edinburgh, and has recently returned from an exchange year at McGill University, Montreal. She now specialises in courses relating to postcolonialism and the developing world, and her academic research into sex trafficking in South East Asia is due to be published soon. She loves travel, foreign languages, the great outdoors and good coffee.
