Fran Newman-Young is a London based writer and events planner with a passion for luxury travel, festivals and other unique experiences.
Fran began her career interning for Conde Nast Traveller, GQ and Company Magazine (RIP). She then landed a job at Sony ATV and continued to have a successful career in the music industry for several years working with the likes of Kasabian, Noel Gallagher, Ed Sheeran and Jessie J. She then spent a year working for Trevor Horn's Independent Music Publishing company, Perfect Songs.
In 2012 Fran was cast in the third season of BAFTA Award winning series, Made In Chelsea, where she became one of its principle characters. The show led to a successful clothing line, as well as a number of fashion and beauty collaborations. She also had four online TV Series, including fashion show High Street Edit and a series of cooking tutorials with her sibling, Olivia.
Fran is currently Head of Special Events for Member's club, Raffles, where she curates festival pop-ups, fashion, sporting and food events. Fran is also co-producer for Daybreaker which encourages people to embrace the break of dawn, dance their faces in a healthy, alcohol-free atmostphere. She also is Acting Managing Editor for food publication, Try This For.
