François Reyes

Born in 1996 in the North of France, François Reyes has, since he’s 12 years old, developed an interest for politics. But in the past few years, he’s realized that civil society is actually the best group do something to help others, and change is country, and why not the world. Following the attacks on Charlie Hebdo in France in January 2015, he came up with the idea of creating a think tank called “Réveil Citoyen”, which means Citizens Awakening. Its only goal is to promote dialogue, and therefore, create understanding between the different communities that tends to fight each other. Reveil Citoyen aims to overcome intolerance, and create peace. Deeply impacted by the recent attacks in Paris, he’s now even more convinced that dialogue is the key to end the terrifying spread of violence in our countries. “
