George Starkey-Midha is Kick It Out’s Media and Communications Officer, having joined the team in January 2016 after graduating from the University of Bristol with a BSc in Politics, developing a particular interest in international relations and humanitarian intervention. His role at Kick It Out encompasses a number of duties – such as handling press requests and writing statements, developing campaigns, promoting Kick It Out’s work in traditional and social media channels and keeping an eye across sport for examples of best practice within social media, inclusion and diversity. George’s passion for social justice, football and media relations were key factors in motivating him to take up the role at Kick It Out.
