From the start, Glen had a single philosophy – to revolutionise customer engagement for the better.

Not all that long ago (but what now feels like in a galaxy far far away), Glen began his career in business development at Xerox, and it was here that his long-standing passion for design and publishing ignited. He tapped this corporate and creative experience to found Geneva Digital in 1991 at the age of 25, creating a new set of customer communication solutions for the budding direct banking and insurance sectors. Geneva Digital was acquired by North American-based Xenos in 1999, and Glen was appointed President and CEO.

He soon spied a gap in the market for customer experience/engagement and manoeuvred himself into a new angle of attack; in 2001 Glen privately funded Thunderhead, a leader in cloud-based customer engagement.

A recognised tech pioneer, innovator and entrepreneur with a wealth of global experience in his wake, Glen took Thunderhead on a mission to change the way businesses deliver customer engagement.

From its beginnings as a punchy British start-up Glen has piloted Thunderhead to become a global tech company with operations throughout Europe, North America, Asia Pacific and Australia.

With Glen in the cockpit Thunderhead has consistently been recognised for its extraordinary growth and innovation, including accolades from The Sunday Times Tech Track 100, number one rankings in the 2008 Deloitte Technology Fast 50, and 2008 Deloitte Technology Fast 500 EMEA and, for three consecutive years, 2013, 2014 and 2015 has been a winner on the CRM watchlist.

And if that wasn’t enough, Glen has also been recognised time and time again for his entrepreneurship and leadership skills. He was selected as Real Business’ “Entrepreneur of the Year” and was also appointed a non-executive Director for London & Partners between December 2011 and November 2013.

When Glen’s not improving the world of engagement he somehow finds time to explore far flung regions of the globe; and often his journeys are as exciting as the destinations. His flight aboard “VeRA” was a particular highlight, as he accompanied the final ever Lancaster Bomber flight from RAF Coningsby in the UK to Hamilton, Canada with the RAF BBMF crew.

We asked Glen for his words of advice to any budding tech entrepreneurs out there: “Be Restless; Be Relentless; Do It Right.”
