Haidar Samiei is a Co creator of iED Apps, a company set up to provide mobile global medical clinical decision support solutions accessible to individual clinicians empowering them to impact patient care quickly and safely.

With over 300000 downloads across 130 countries, Haidar has won awards from Medipex innovations hub, been a finalist in NHS safety awards, and presented internationally in both medical and technology based forums. iED Apps are now creating their second generation of mobile medical solutions, and working with partners to ensure distribution and test suitability for point of care access across four continents.

In his spare time Haidar makes luxury ice cream in LICC York, by far the best ice cream parlour in the UK. He is also a full time Consultant Emergency Medicine physician in Leeds teaching hospitals NHS trust.
