Hannah Parker

Hannah is a former city-girl now living in rural Northumberland with her husband, Mike. She has a step-daughter, Gabriella, who is 8, and a son, Reuben, who is 2. She writes the award-winning lifestyle and parenting blog, Mums’ Days.

Hannah’s background is in Engineering and Research. Before becoming a mum she travelled the world managing large UK and European funded projects, and speaking and chairing at global conferences. She has now joined an army of intelligent women look after their children, whilst making a living on the side as a parenting blogger.

Hannah loves cooking and hates cleaning, which comes across in her writing and videos. They are real. This is why so many mothers connect with her through the blog and her extended Facebook community, where she runs a popular Q&A.

This year Hannah has taken on a challenge to visit all 45 (or more!) of the Northumberland castles with her toddler. The aim is to pepper their busy lives with history, new people and experiences, and picnics in the car – there might even be a Guinness World Record in there!
