Helen Belcher

Helen is one of the founders and directors of Trans Media Watch, a charity that encourages the British media to report trans and intersex issues with accuracy, dignity and respect. She gave the charity's evidence to the Leveson Inquiry in 2012, and also to Parliament in 2015. She has also campaigned on equal marriage, trans healthcare and gender recognition reform. She was placed 81st in the Independent on Sunday's Rainbow List 2015, and was recently appointed to Stonewall's Trans Advisory Group. She runs a growing software company and is happily married with two teenage children.
