Isabelle Younane

Communications intern at Minority Rights Group International and Human Rights MA student at UCL

Isabelle Younane is a postgraduate student at University College London, where she studies Political Science with a focus on human rights, terrorism and international law. She worked as a journalist for a year on the French and Italian Riviera after graduating with an English degree from the University of Exeter. When she's not knee-deep in political theory and case law, she finds the time to trawl through the news and voice a (usually cynical) opinion via UCL's International Public Policy Review and the Human Rights Journal, of which she is founder. Isabelle would eventually like to combine her political interests with her love of writing and forge a career in political journalism, NGO communications or advocacy. On a personal level, she has a Lebanese background, an addiction to dried fruit, a habit of losing things, a beautiful family and too many opinions.
