With a background as a writer and director I have always had a hearfelt commitment to fostering active participation. This has informed my expertise in developing programmes, models and frameworks that scaffold personalised development.

I began my professional life in industrial chemistry and continue to value ways that science and scientific discoveries have had positive impacts upon our lives – but I now also operate as a passionate advocate for the transformative powers of the arts.

I know from my own experience that brushes with drama can increase people’s self-confidence, self-esteem and empathic skills – and that storytelling, through whatever medium, lies at the root of ways in which we understand the world around us.
