A mother and writer who believes childhood is about freedom, not restraint
Jai Breitnauer is a freelance writer, blogger and mother of two boys, based in Bristol. She believes that far from scary places to raise children, cities are concrete jungles where kids should have the freedom and trust to explore, learn and grow – and is avidly campaigning to make sure they are safe as well. She’s currently supporting the Sustrans Free Range Kids campaign, calling for better walking and cycling routes, 20-mph-speed limits in residential areas, and more freedom for kids to roam in safety.
