In 2015 I was 20 stone and struggling with depression with no foreseeable way out. Then one night in August I laced up a beaten up old pair of trainers and went out for a slow, painful run. It wasn't fast and it certainly wasnt far but that day changed everything for me. Since that day I have lost 5+ stone, found a way of controlling my depression and run 10+ marathons around the world.
