James Kibbey

After his first short film won the Budweiser Filmmaker Discovery Award, James began a career in film-making. In 2012, his short House Cocktail won the 2013 International “House Shorts” competition, judged by a panel that included Harvey Weinstein, Paul Haggis, Paul Greengrass and Jessica Chastain. The film has since won six awards across the globe, including Runner-Up in the prestigious Cannes Young Director Award. In 2013 he wrote and directed his debut feature "The Last Sparks of Sundown" which is being released in UK cinemas this July. In addition to delivering films for the likes of MasterCard, The FA, Adidas and Southampton FC, James is currently writing his second feature and developing another football/comedy series.
