Jamie Bartlett

Jamie heads the Violence and Extremism Programme which researches a range of terrorist and extremist groups. He is also the Director of the Centre for the Analysis of Social Media. He recently undertook a survey of 13,000 Facebook supporters of radical right wing parties in Europe, and co-authored with Sir David Omand the first report on how intelligence and policing agencies should use social media intelligence. He is currently working on combining artificial intelligence with social science in order to use natural language processing for social policy research.
