Janan Jay

Janan was raised in London and educated in Canterbury and Brighton. A card-carrying Japanophile, ostentatious eyelash addict and aesthetics junkie, she ran off to live and work in Tokyo with the bright lights, yakitori bars and cherry blossoms for a couple of years.

Her Polish heritage and experience in Japan has made her an Asian/Eastern European foodie, and with an innate love ofcocktails, she currently presents Janan’s Cocktail Diaries on TTA.tv, in addition to writing about food and drink for Londonist. She is also a radio presenter/voiceover artist represented by icantalk.

Janan is incredibly passionate about culture, travel, food, literature, music, psychology, utterly adores big cities and can often be found hanging out, sipping cocktails and fizz, in basement bars, pop up places, street food stalls or anywhere remotely interesting.
