Jean-François van Boxmeer was born 1961 in Elsene, Belgium. He joined HEINEKEN in 1984 and during his time at the Company has held management positions in Rwanda, DRC, Poland and Italy. Jean-François was appointed to HEINEKEN’s board in 2001 and became Chairman and CEO in 2005. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of Mondelez International, USA.
