Jeanne Koutandos

Jeanne Koutandos has quite a few years of media experience under her belt. Having started out as a features editor of a fashion and lifestyle magazine fresh out of Vega, The Brand Communications School in Sandton, Johannesburg, she was later promoted to editor. A few months later the publication, unfortunately, closed its doors – reason being it was during the recession and not a good time for print. Jeanne then moved down to Cape Town to start fresh as a freelance writer, writing for many platforms such as Beauty South Africa, Music Review and other entertainment platforms. She also completed an internship at Marie Claire Magazine during this time and wrote for their blog. Jeanne later went on to start her own entertainment blog- ycladmag.com which still remains as a hobby of hers - just to keep her writing alive and stay in touch with trends and, something that still remains as one of her biggest passions- music! Jeanne currently works at Press Room, a top PR agency and showroom based in Woodstock, as a PR Account Director and loves the daily hustle of working in the fast-paced fashion PR world.
